How Confetti Master Started: From Side Hustle to Full-Time Business
When I was selling fireworks displays, I started noticing the other kit on gigs—searchlights, CO2 blasters. They looked easy to set up, easy to transport, and people clearly wanted them. So I bought some searchlights and hired them out on the side. My boss didn’t mind. I was still bringing in the clients and delivering the shows, so a bit of extra income on the side wasn’t a problem for anyone.

Then I bought some CO2 confetti blasters and did the same thing. That led me to handheld confetti cannons. I bought a box of fifty-centimeter cannons for a few hundred quid and sold the lot within a week. That was the moment I realised there was a proper business here.
Ten years on, Confetti Master is the UK’s leading confetti cannon supplier. We sell everything from twenty to eighty-centimeter cannons, with fully customisable colours—single colour, multiple colours, whatever you need. We also do wedding cannons, gender reveal cannons, and confetti cannon hire. Everything is biodegradable, and we ship fast across the UK.

Our clients include Mercedes F1, McLaren F1, Disney, BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Liverpool FC, Chelsea FC, Reading and Leeds Festival, the O2 Academy, Merlin, Alton Towers, and the Royal Opera House. None of that came from a big marketing plan—it came from people finding us online and liking what they saw.
No master plan. Just spotting what worked and going for it. You can check out Confetti Master at confettimaster.com.
